Making the Most of Multicam Step 1 of 13 7% Welcome to Xirgo’s Multicam Order Assistant. The CP4S and CRX-S are agile multicam platforms that can be configured in a variety of ways to address your customers’ challenges. This ~10 minute multicam web form will help you navigate the major decisions involved. Once we receive your submitted form, one of our multicam order specialists will contact you within 24 hours to schedule a call, answer questions and help you address any remaining items. Let’s get started! Your OrganizationFirst NameLast NameEmail(Required) PhoneEnd User Fleet OrganizationEnd User Fleet Location(s) Understanding your customers’ vehicle types will determine how much additional effort is required for deployment and hardware planning. Uniform Vehicle Types If your customer’s fleet consists entirely of the same year/make/models, deployment will first focus on process optimization, followed by configuration/installation functions. Multiple Vehicle Types The greater the variety of vehicles in a fleet, the more installation options there are to consider for CP4S and CRX-S hardware. This means each vehicle is likely to require its own discussion about mounting locations. Longer, more complex vehicle types may require extension cables to connect all of the peripheral cameras to the DVR, and/or Suzie cables for tractor/trailer scenarios. The best deployment planning should include all key stakeholders (e.g., the reseller, fleet manager, and lead installer) and take place BEFORE ANY HARDWARE ORDER IS SUBMITTED. This will help prevent multiple parts shipments and installer revisits. With the above in mind, please choose one of the following(Required) Uniform fleet — Almost all vehicles are a single year/make/model. Hardware choices are simple, and plans for configuration/installation can be applied broadly. Mixed fleet — A variety of years, makes, models and sizes. Please alert Xirgo that this order requires consultation for hardware and/or configuration and installation planning. Other Please Explain What is the mix of devices on your order? Consider the mix of multicam devices intended for this order, and please choose ONE of the following options: Only CP4S devices are included in this order — therefore no additional modems are needed. CRX-S devices are included in this order and we intend to order Xirgo-provided modems. We would like to discuss utilizing our own modems with the CRX-S devices in this order. We are ordering CRX Devices and do not know how to answer this question. Xirgo offers a variety of peripheral cameras for a wide range of use cases, vehicle types and mounting requirements. Mirrored or Unmirrored? Some peripheral cameras can be ordered as mirrored or unmirrored variants. A mirrored camera view is the preferred orientation for drivers facing forward and viewing a monitor while backing the vehicle up. Cameras facing the rear are typically mirrored, especially when a monitor is involved. The CP4S does not allow for mirrored/unmirrored configurations, however, the CRX-S allows for any Xirgo peripheral camera to be mirrored/unmirrored via configuration. This makes ordering peripheral cameras with CRX-S hassle-free. Detailed responses to the next section will help determine when/where mirrored cameras are best utilized. Please check the applicable boxes below and briefly explain the desired location and purpose of each camera for this order. With these details in mind, and after a consult with the stakeholders (Reseller, Fleet Mgr, Lead Installer), please take a moment to briefly explain the desired location & purpose of each camera involved in a typical vehicle installation on this order: Camera Channel 1 (typically road-facing) Camera Channel 2 (typically driver-facing) Camera Channel 3 Camera Channel 4 (CRX-S) Camera Channel 5 (CRX-S) Camera Channel 6 (CRX-S) Camera Channel 7 (CRX-S) Camera Channel 8 Camera Channel 1 - Location/PurposeCamera Channel 2 - Location/PurposeCamera Channel 3 - Location/PurposeCamera Channel 4 - Location/Purpose(CRX-S) Camera Channel 5 - Location/Purpose(CRX-S) Camera Channel 6 - Location/Purpose(CRX-S) Camera Channel 7 - Location/Purpose(CRX-S) Camera Channel 8 - Location/Purpose Xirgo's optional in-cab LCD Monitor greatly improves driver awareness by providing additional visibility around the vehicle.
