XVD-302
Safety Intelligence, Delivered.
The XVD-302 is a next-generation AI dashcam that runs advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and driver monitoring systems (DMS) on-device, pulling OEM-proprietary vehicle data through the same single cable. No second gateway. No second SIM. No second install. Just protection right out of the box.
Why XVD-302?
Commercial vehicle crashes put safety at risk, increase the chances of litigation, jeopardize driver retention and put an operation's reputation at stake. Fleets need a solution they can count on to see, sense and save the day. That's exactly what the XVD-302 is built for.

Edge AI
No Roundtrip to the Cloud. No Compromises. Welcome to Safety AI that Runs on the Edge.
Edge AI combines artificial intelligence with edge computing to process data locally on a device instead of relying on the cloud. The result: Data is analyzed instantly, so decisions can be made quickly and in real-time, even without an internet connection.
Road-facing ADAS
Provides forward collision warning, tailgating, pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane departure, and posted stop-sign and speed-limit violations.*
*Available in US, Canada and Australia only.
Driver-facing DMS
Identifies fatigue and microsleep, distraction and phone use. Driver-facing camera required.
Motion & GPS
Detects Harsh braking, acceleration and cornering, speeding, and high-G events for potential collisions.
Raised ceiling
Offers a next-gen AI platform built with deliberate headroom for upcoming AI models.
Driver Alerts and Escalated Reporting
Configure three key tiers to prioritize repeat behavior notifications and notify less-frequent behaviors at the driver level.
Tier 1
The driver self-corrects
- Driver
- Immediate
- On-device
In-cab alerts name the behavior out loud so the driver adjusts. Most change happens in that moment.
Tier 2
Repeat behaviors are escalated
- System
- Same Shift
- Configurable
One tailgate might be due to stop-and-go traffic. Three in sixty seconds is a bad habit. Level 2 in-cab alerts or event escalations capture incidents to cut out the noise.
Tier 3
Managers coach with evidence
- Safety Manager
- After the Shift
Only escalate what needs a conversation. The event arrives with video and related vehicle data, for holistic coaching.
Field of View
Smart Perspective:
What the Camera Sees is What the AI Knows
Model quality is bounded by the frame it’s given. Every detection on the XVD-302 (including following distance, a lane edge, eyelids, etc.) can be captured in full HD, with hardware flexibility for every deployment type.

A One-and-Done Cable, Not a Second Device
Getting CAN data to a dashcam normally requires an added gateway: a second device, a second SIM, a second install, a second failure point, and a second line on the bill of materials. The XVD-302 does it with a single plug-and-play cable: OBDPRO.
Traditional: Camera + separate standalone gateway
- Double the firmware needed to provision and manage device updates
- Double the cellular data plans, twice the install (time, cables, in-cab space and cost)
- Two events (video and vehicle), burden cloud teams to stitch together
- In most cases, limited standard vehicle data (speed, etc.)
- Significant component duplication and high cost for combined purchases
XVD-302 + OBDPRO Cable
- Single firmware to provision and manage video, plus vehicle coverage updates
- One cellular data plan, single install (time, cable, in-cab space and cost)
- One combined event (video and vehicle) at the edge for easy integration
- Standard and OEM vehicle data, from diagnostic trouble codes to EV battery state of charge
- Minimized component duplication, low cost for combined purchase
When the trip ends
Guard Mode Doesn’t Clock Out When the Driver Does
A parked vehicle is the one fleets know the least about. Guard Mode keeps watching after the shift with nothing for a driver to switch on.
Guard mode is configurable to be on 24, 48 or 72 hours after ignition off.
Stays alert for threats
Monitors impacts, shocks and bumps; then wakes and records.
Checks in every hour.
Reports location, so a parked asset never drops off the map.
Stays
reachable
Admins can update firmware, make configuration changes and request video footage.
Protects the battery
Automatically switches to a low-power mode when the vehicle battery runs low.
Zero Partner Rework
Single Device and Event File. Same Integration.
Video, vehicle data and AI events arrive as a single consolidated event through SmartAPI. This is the same integration your team already has in place.
On the device
ADAS, DMS, livestreaming and cloud sync run smoothly and concurrently, providing headroom for what comes next.
Continuous capture, selective upload
The device records continuously and manages upload delivery intelligently, so fleets get the footage they need, without the cellular bill they don’t.
One event file
Video, vehicle data and AI event metadata are bundled into a single event tied to the device, not stitched together downstream from two devices.
Coverage updates without firmware updates
The vehicle-data library is cloud-hosted, so new make/model/year vehicle-data coverage reaches deployed devices without pushing firmware updates.
Unchanged integration
Same SmartAPI, event handling, provisioning and OTA mechanism as the KP2, with consistency across every Xirgo video product. No partner rework required.
